Cingular Wireless:
Cingular Wireless was launching their brand globally and needed to generate excitement among their salespeople who would be attending a national sales meeting. The goal was to incorporate branded items which would enhance the high energy atmosphere of the event and leave a lasting impression on the attendees. Cingular called on Bob Lilly Professional Promotions to develop and produce colorful, high quality shopping bags imprinted with the large, orange "Jack" which would be visible at each table. The bags were stuffed with orange and white crepe paper and then filled with the custom branded promotional items including a spiral bound journal book with custom die-cut cover and a high quality stainless steel pen. The response from the client was that the items and the event were a total success. Bob Lilly Professional Promotions fielded many calls for reorders of the merchandise used at the sales rally.

National Semi-Conductor:
National Semi-Conductor was having an international gathering of its management staff from all over the globe. National Semi wanted to present each of the attendees with a Texas-themed welcome gift that would be innovative and fun, in order to set the tone for the upcoming set of meetings. Bob Lilly Professional Promotions developed and coordinated a customized gift basket which included a cowboy hat filled with Texas-themed items (i.e., Texas State Flag, chips/salsa, mixers, snacks) and wrapped in clear colored plastic and tied off with a Texas flag bandana and chili-pepper and cowboy boot tie-wraps. For the room gift, a brass cowboy hat etched with the National Semi logo and event date was selected. The items were a big hit with the attendees from around the world.

North Texas Tollway Association
North Texas Tollway Association:
The North Texas Tollway Association (NTTA) was having a grand opening for the launching of a new section of its infrastructure and wanted to commemorate the launch with unique gifts for consumers as well as local dignitaries. Bob Lilly Professional Promotions was called in to help. The consumers received a compressed t-shirt in the shape of a wagon wheel (consistent with the western theme of the grand opening) and the dignitaries received a 6-inch branding iron (paperweight) with the project's initials. The branding irons also had a custom drop tag that provided information regarding the history of the NTTA along with background on the new road infrastructure. They were attached with leather cords in keeping with the theme.

Sprint
Sprint:
Sprint had scheduled a management conference/ski trip for high level decision makers, with the ultimate goal of building stronger relationships. As part of this weekend, Bob Lilly Professional Promotions helped by producing the invitation, which consisted of an actual ski pole along with a printed invitation and itinerary of events with RSVP card all made to look like ski lift tickets. The recipient received the invitation in a specially marked mailing tube, along with other amenities included for the weekend. The goal was to make sure the invitation would break through the clutter and have a startling impact on the recipient, thereby encouraging greater attendance to the event in Park City, Utah. The amenities throughout the weekend also needed to be upscale and unique, targeting an audience that likely already has everything. Overall, the event was a wonderful success with greater than expected attendance.

Nokia:
Overview
Nokia is a world leader in mobile communications and the leading supplier of mobile phones a s well as mobile, fixed broadband and IP networks. With 18 production facilities in 10 countries around the world, research and development in 15 countries and sales to over 130 countries, Nokia employs around 54,000 people around the globe. Computer issues, system malfunctions and software problems are daily occurrences. The company needed an Internet portal developed that all employees could refer to and get repair information in case of computer, software or system problems. The predicament was that with so many employees in so many countries, the name of the new portal had to be translatable in over 30 languages and the site had to be compelling enough to encourage worldwide employee usage.

Solution
Bob Lilly Professional Promotions along with digital media partner, New Media Gateway, provided hundreds of strategic and memorable names to the Nokia management in a period of several weeks. After several meetings, a worldwide marketing committee finally selected PC Doctor as the name of the new portal. An Internet creative director then flew to Stockholm to meet with various members of the marketing committee to get input for the portal's design. Again, the design had to work in all counties and in a number of different cultures. Clarity, design sense and clean architecture were the goals. BLPP & NMG astonishingly delivered the completed portal five weeks later.

Procter & Gamble
Procter & Gamble:
Procter & Gamble and SC Johnson each had individual needs associated with identifying their specific brands with selected events and targeted markets (e.g., outdoor event, weekend promotion). In order to drive traffic to their locations (for P&G, it was an end-cap in selected Walmarts and for SC Johnson, it was an area at an outdoor soccer tournament), Bob Lilly Professional Promotions produced replicas of select brands (i.e., Downy bottle, Shout bottle) that have ultimately been used at several promotional events for their respective companies. Importantly, Bob Lilly Professional Promotions has the capability to produce large-scale inflatables (including items such as oversized football helmets), designed to draw attention and traffic to designated promotions and/or locations.

State Fair of Texas:
The State Fair of Texas wanted to retail unique, Texas-themed gifts for purchase from their retail kiosks throughout the fairgrounds. They were looking for one-of-a-kind ideas that would be different from anything previously sold, thereby encouraging greater sales since most attendees come to the fair annually. Bob Lilly Professional Promotions developed some custom ideas (Texas silk necktie, innovative picture frame highlighting Texas, unique pen and State Fair baseball cap) which were specifically developed for the State Fair of Texas (the largest State Fair in the U.S.) at a reasonable cost, so that the State Fair could resell these items as an incremental revenue stream.
